Green Marketing is one of the most important aspect that a certain business should have. It is an approach where a business establishment promote its care and responsibility for the environment and creating a relationship with their target markets. Green marketing companies seek to go above and beyond traditional marketing by promoting environmental core values in the hope that consumers will associate these values with their company or brand. Engaging in these sustainable activities can lead to creating a new product line that caters to a new target market. That's why, last August 27, 2014, my group mates and I went to 5th street, MSU, Marawi City to find a food establishment that would accept our offer to prevent students from using plastic bags and begin using plastic wares or even bags. Because in our present world, we can see that our environment begun to deteriorate due to improper disposal of garbage and not caring for our environment. Using plastic bags also are made of toxic chemicals that could harm our health and environment. It cannot only harm the human body but also to the water, air and soil where other lives reside.
So, the group decided to have an agreement between the owner of DG's Manokan Express in 5th street and we thank God that she respond to our offer. We decided that the group will give P1.00 discount to the first ten customer who will buy their food products everyday. As a result, more customers patronize their products bringing plastic wares instead of cellophane. And we are hoping that even in this single step, we can share and promote how important it is to care for our environment. Let's do our best for the better! Let's do it for the people of tomorrow! Let's help our environment clean and green!
Plastic
bags are among the items that are non-biodegradable. This means that
they are not biodegraded or, in simpler terms, do not decay. Do you know
that it takes thousands of years before one plastic bag can turn into
small particles? Yes, that’s how long for plastic bags to vanish from
our planet, Earth. - See more at:

Plastic
bags are made of various chemicals which are mainly toxic. That is
certainly very harmful to the health and the environment. The chemicals
used to make plastic bags are xylene, ethylene oxide and benzene. These
are toxic chemicals that are sources of various diseases as well as
disorders in humans. They do not only provide negative effects on the
health of people and animals but also to the air. These chemicals can
pollute the air too which again harm the living organisms. They will not
only affect humans and animals but also plants, water and air. - See
